Medical Oncology is super specialty branch which include treatment of acute leukemia,lymphoma, other blood cancers and treatment of solid cancer like breast lung, gastrointestinal cancer. Bone Marrow transplantation is also a part of medical oncology. As oncology is team effort hence department collaborate with surgeons , radiotherapy , pathologist radiologist, nuclear medicine, palliative care department for comprehensive cancer care.
